St. John the Baptist Jesse Tree project or our Giving Tree,  entails finding families with special needs over the joyous Christmas season.  This committee finds out the families' needs and presents the parish with trees in the entryway of church that contain paper ornaments with the items needed for the families. Parishioners take the ornaments and return them with the items requested attached.  The collections from parishioners include Christmas gifts, clothing needs, and food items.  The committee then wraps all of the items and presents the families with them.  This is a tremendous way for our parish to share the Christmas spirit with the families in need.
